The Cozy Corner Scavenger Hunt

Look closely. Get curious. Discover what was hiding in plain sight.

Public • Ages 6+ • 15–25 minutes • No special supplies

This low-pressure scavenger hunt works at home, in a library, in a coffee shop or anywhere books gather. Read the clues aloud, take turns spotting answers, and let the best discoveries start a conversation. A pencil is optional.

How to play

  1. Choose your corner and look around together.
  2. Find as many cozy details as you can. One object may count more than once if everyone agrees.
  3. Move into the Curiosity Round and share what you noticed.
  4. There are no points unless your group wants them. The real win is discovering something worth talking about.

Our best discovery

Pair it with a story

Choose any book nearby. Before opening it, use three things you found to predict what kind of trouble, surprise or adventure might happen inside.

Five-minute mystery

Pick one object from the hunt and ask: Who left it here? Why does it matter? What is the clue that tells us the truth? Each person adds one sentence until your mystery is solved.
